Getting started
A parent or legal guardian sets up and supervises each athlete account. During onboarding you'll choose the athlete's sport, age group, and goals, and we'll build a personalized training plan from there. The guardian area is protected by a numeric PIN that you set during sign-up.
Accounts & the Guardian PIN
The Guardian PIN keeps parent-only settings secure. If you forget it, you can reset it from within the app, or email us and we'll help you regain access after verifying ownership of the account. For security, the PIN is never stored in a way we can read — we cannot look it up for you, only help you reset it.
Subscriptions & billing
ASCND starts with a 7-day free trial, then renews automatically until canceled.
- On iPhone/iPad: ASCND is billed through your Apple ID. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Canceling at least 24 hours before the trial or period ends stops the next charge.
- Restore a purchase: open the Subscription screen in the app and tap Restore Purchases to recover a subscription on a new device or after reinstalling.
- Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- On other platforms, billing is handled by Stripe and can be managed from your profile in the app.
Training plans & Coach A
Your plan adapts week to week as you train and check in. Coach A is available anytime for encouraging, age-appropriate guidance. If a plan ever feels too easy or too hard, keep logging your check-ins — that's what lets the plan adjust to you. Coach A and Dr A offer general training and recovery guidance only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice; stop and seek care for any pain or injury.
Video feedback
Submit a short clip of your reps from the app to get feedback on your form. Videos are stored privately and are only accessible through short-lived secure links.
Privacy, children's data & deletion
ASCNDR Athletix is built for athletes ages 6–18 and follows the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). For athletes under 13, we obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information. A guardian can review the athlete's information, withdraw consent, and delete the account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account, or by emailing us.
